A Brief Summary of My Journey

I was born in Norfolk, Virginia in the early 50s. As a young man I would watch my dad in his makeshift darkroom developing photographs of the family. It seemed like magic when, in the red glow of the safelight, the image would appear from a blank piece of paper immersed in the developing tray. I was soon hooked. That was when I was still in high school, over 40 years ago. I have been taking pictures ever since.

I have used cameras ranging from the old fashioned press cameras to 35 mm film cameras to DSLR digital cameras. I was a bricklayer for over 25 years and worked for over 17 years as a website developer. It was during that time that I honed my Photographic and Photoshop skills. Now in my ”retirement” I started a new venture in real estate, automotive & food photography services. Check that out at tombrickhousephotography.com.

My work includes Black & White photography, Scenic photos, Aviation/Military, Architectural, Botanical/Floral & even Picnic Tables. But wait, there’s even more in my Galleries.

This site is dedicated to my art photography that was over 40 years in the “taking”.
